About Frances Neill

Frances joined the nzmaths website team in 2008. She has eight years experience working as a primary school teacher and was the visiting teacher at the National Education Monitoring Project (NEMP) for two years. She is also a member of the NEMP national advisory panels for science and technology.

Her main role is to update the website in line with the new mathematics curriculum statement and to create new resources. She has been involved in designing the new planning assistant and uploading resources to the website.

Frances’ enthusiasm for her work comes from a belief that making quality resources easily accessible to teachers is a good way to spend your work day.
