About Jenny Ward
Jenny is currently working on a PhD, focusing on teachers’ knowledge of teaching fractions. This project seeks to identify those teachers that require targeted support in this area, and is in line with her interest in presenting mathematics in a way that develops understanding rather than relying on rules and procedures.
She has several years teaching experience in primary classrooms and enjoys developing resources for the site.
She considers herself fortunate to have been involved in the Numeracy Development Projects both as a researcher, and more recently working with teachers in professional development programmes and pre-service numeracy courses.
